Description of coat of arms:
The golden (= yellow) shield is divided by a red bend, which is superimposed by three golden (= yellow) axes.
Meaning:
The arms display the arms of the Margraves of Baden plus the axes, which had been taken from the arms of the Barons of Sturmfeder, who lived in Oppenweiler from 1288 until 1901.
The Margraves of Baden owned Reichenberg until 1297 and the fiefdom over Oppenweiler until the 14th century.
