It is a white flag with vertical black stripes at the edges of hoist and fly. In the middle shifted to the top is a logo, three red towers of the Hamburg castle, simplified to mere rectangles, the right and left tower topped by a red 6-point star. Benaeth the catsle is a blue field, separated from the castle by a white wavy line. The whole is shaped like an edgeless shield. Below the logo is a black inscription in serifed capitals: “HAMMONIA” above “REEDEREI”, the latter slightly smaller.

The house flag of Hellespont Group is blue with a white cross. An off-centred blue cross, apparently with the vertical arm larger than the horizontal one, is placed inside the white cross. A white disc with a blue border is placed in the middle of the cross and charged with the blue Greek letters FBP (= Phi Beta Pi), the initials of the founder of the company.
