environment. White represents purity, virtue and nobleness of the
Naranjito wife. Orange represents the natural colour of the
orange fruit after which the canton was named."
So it is green-white-orange....but how are those arranged?
The place was indeed rich in mountain orange trees and
"achotillos" (the fruit of the Amazonian tree Caryocar
amygdaliferum Mutis. rather than rambutan, Nephelium
lappaceum L.), used for long as a source of oranges by the
inhabitants.

I believe that it must be horizontal. When arrangement is not
explained, it is suposed to be in most comon form. But if we
don't have other sources, we can't be sure.
