Overview

Adopted: 25 April 1996. Ratio: 2:3. Koosa osavald  is a part of a Vara rural municipality (vald) in Tartumaa County (Maakond). Koosa is only part of Vara rural commune, not a commune itself. Vald (in genitive case: valla) is commune, osa - part, osavald - part of commune.

Blue line and fish refer to the river of Emajõgi. Clover leaves refer to the agriculture. Silver is the color of purity and faith. Blue is the color of mentality and candour.
