The municipality of Constanzana (147 inhabitants in 2002; 2,600 ha; 891 m a.s.l.; municipal website) is located 50 km northwest of Ávila. The population of the village peaked to 300 inhabitants in the 1950s.

The flag and arms of Constanzana, designed by Vicente Tocino Letrado and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 16 February 2004 by the Municipal Council, signed on 14 September 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 2 October 2006 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 190, p. 18,329 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of a green panel with a red cross throughout outlined in white.
Coat of arms: Argent, a church gules surrounded by two pines eradicated vert, a bordure vert three wheat spikes or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
