Presentation of Zamora Province

The Zamora Province (194,214 inhabitants in 2010; 10,561 sq. km) is located in the northwest of Castilla y León.

Flag of Zamora Province

According to Manual del Estado Español (text), the "historical flag" of the Zamora Province is made of "nine stripes, eight of [red] flesh colour (...) and one green located in the upper part".
The flag is, therefore, the same as the flag of the town of Zamora.
