Description

According to the Manual del Estado Español (Handbook of the Spanish State, Spanish text only) by Editorial Lama, there is no flag, the coat of arms being adopted by the Diputación Provincial on 27th October 1868:

Escudo de azur y una columna de plata fajada de una cinta en que se lee este lema: "Plus Ultra," y un león de gules empinante a la columna.

Pascal Vagnat, 16 Jul 1999

Badajoz province currently has a blue flag with coat-of-arms. It is probably unofficial.

Jaume Ollé, 27 Feb 2000

Unofficial flag. The source for Jens Pattke's image is Ministerio para las Administraciones Públicas 1992.
