Presentation of Páramo de Boedo

The municipality of Páramo de Boedo (97 inhabitants in 2009; 2,276 ha) is located 70 km from Palencia. The municipality is made of the villages of Páramo (capital), Villaneceriel de Boedo (15 inh.) and Zorita del Páramo (39 inh.).
Páramo de Boedo got its name from Latin paramos, "a flat land", and river Boedo, watering the municipality. Villaneceriel could have been "Nazariel's estate". Zorita means "a forest dove of blue color".

The symbols are described as follows:

The cauldrons come from the arms of Lara, once owners of the three villages forming the municipality.
