Introduction

Homefront is a video game just released in the United States. The basic premise of the game is: The United States is invaded and occupied by North Korea. The North Korean and United States flags are very common in the game. Most of the time, you will see the United States flag in ruins or flying with another flag (the only one I saw was that of Colorado). The North Korean flag will be seen in the loading screens or in some missions (such as blowing up a wall in order to escape from Colorado to Utah). However, I also came across two flag tidbits that are unique to the game.

The Korean People's Army mostly uses a flag that is modified from the national flag of North Korea: The blue bars were removed and the white bars are placed at the bottom. There is no writing on the flag and the star and circle are still the same as far as I can tell.

In the occupied territories of the United States, the U.S. flag is colored a dark red, a light red and black. Charged in the middle of this flag, which is only used on passbooks and government propaganda, is the symbol of the Korean People's Army
