In this film, there is a flag that is used several times most notably on the 'ship' RLS Legacy and in Jim Hawkings room. They 'sail' with this flag from the planet 'Montressor''s spaceport, so I assume it's theirs. I visited both imdb and wikipedia for reference of this flag (at the time I didn't know that there is info about fictional flags as well). I searched the net for it, but didn't find it. An image of it can be seen here and here

In the Disney animated movie "Treasure Planet" (2002, Ron Clements and John
Musker, details here), a fantasy sci-fi
adaptation of the famous novel "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson,
the crew rebels and hoists a jolly roger, but apparently, in keeping with
the pirates-in-space theme, this famous flag has been redesigned. Now the
skull is no longer human, presenting three menacing eyeballs, not to mention
two enormous fangs. The two crossed bones have also been replaced by two
hollow ellipses, probably representing either planetary or atomic orbits.
