Armement Jean Le Bouder was a fishing company based in Dieppe (Normandy). The company owned five trawlers: Lucien Gougy, Édouard Gougy, Roseline Gougy, Jeanne Gougy and Jean Gougy.
On 3 November 1962, the Jeanne Gougy, built in 1949 and purchased by Le Bouder in 1958, ran against Armoured Knight Rock, just below the
Land's End cliffs, in Cornwall. An helicopter of the Royal Air Force rescued six out of the 18 crew members.
On 21 February 1970, the Jean Gougy, built in 1959 in Saint-Malo, was lost with the 14 crew members south of Bishop's Rock, close to the site of the wreck of the Jeanne Gougy. Only one body could be retrieved. The event caused a great stir in Fˇcamp and Dieppe, aggravated by the blunder made by President of the Republic, Georges Pompidou: from Washington, Pompidou offered his sympathy to the families of people killed by an avalanche in the Alps but did not say anything on the seamen of the Jean Gougy (Boutmenteux forum).

Patrick Neveu (website) shows the funnel marking of Jean Le Bouder as charged with a green flag inscribed with the white letters "L.G", which must be the house flag of the company.
