Léon Mazella di Bosco founded a shipping company in 1928 in the town of Oran, then a big port in French Algeria. After his death in 1951, he was succeeded by his son, also called Léon.
The company was transfered to Bayonne after the independence of Algeria. It went out of business in 1980, after having operated a total of 11 ships.
