The Dumpy Book of Ships and the Sea (1957)
shows the burgee blue with a white shield containing the red hand of Ulster,
surmounted by a crown.

The following Club page shows the burgee although surely the blue is too
light; the shield’s upper edge is curved as mentioned & illustrated by Clay:
