The new Georgian opposition party called Party of Validity held a meeting in Batumi, as reported by the Russian TV networks Channel First and NTV (3 April 2005), and the Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta (4 April 2005). The leader of the party is Igor Georgadze.
