Presentation of Glyfada

The municipality of Glyfada (87,305 inhabitants in 2011; 2,537 ha, therefore the largest of the Athnes subusbs), is a suburbs of Athens, in the southern parts of the Metropolitan Area, on the Saronic Gulf. Glyfada is home to many of Greece's millionaires, ministers and celebrities, and is known for its upmarket cafes, restaurants, boutiques and its nightlife ; Glyfada has been called the "Beverly Hills of Greece".
The municipality was not changed with the 2011 local government reform.
