Transport and Harbours Department

This is the Flag of the Transport and Harbours Department of Guyana (THD). The THD is responsible for the operation of public ferries in Guyana as well as Tug Boats and other vessels used for internal transportation. I used the ferry lots of time (at least once a month) so I saw the flag at the bow of the ferries.

This is the Flag of the Bank of Guyana (BOG). It bears the Bank of Guyana coat of arms. The Bank of Guyana is the country's central bank. The color of the border is red-orange. I used to see this flag on the BOG Building when I visited Georgetown (the capital of Guyana).

Cheddi Jagan International Airport

This is a possible flag of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Guyana. I recall seeing this flag, but that was years ago. I am sure that the flag I saw had the airport logo on a white field. I am not sure of the style or color of the lettering below the logo on the flag.

This is the Flag of the University of Guyana (UG). I saw it when my school went on a career day trip to UG, when I lived in Guyana.
