The coat of arms of is described in the Decision as follows:
... in shield shape, vertically divided in two halves. On the left side of the coat of arms is the historical Croatian coat of arms with red and white fields. The right half is divided vertically - slanted in two parts. In the top part is the symbol of the parish church, and at the same time the symbol of the patron of our municipality - "The Most Holy Trinity". In the background of the symbol is the sky coloured light-blue with six stars on which the symbol of the Most Holy Trinity stands. The symbol itself is composed of a cross symbolizing Jesus Christ, the divine eye as the symbol of God and the white dove raising above as the symbol of the Holy Spirit. The lower part of the right half of the coat of arms is green coloured, with two blue lines in the bottom part at the end slightly bent toward down. It is the symbol of the agricultural orientation of the region and of river Sutla on which shores our municipality lies. The edge of the shield is coloured in old gold. At the shield on both sides there are two pennants (tricolours). At the very top of the coat of arms, on a green background edged with the old gold colour, and dashed with white lines, the inscription of the Municipality of Kraljevec na Sutri stands in black letters.
The coat of arms of is described in the Statutes as follows:
The coat of arms is in a shield shape, topped with a tricolour ribbon (red-white-blue) with the municipality name. The coat of arms symbolizes the Croatian checky fields, the symbol of the Holy Trinity, and a green valley with river Sutla running through it.
The Municipal Statutes Statut Općine Kraljevec na Sutli, adopted on 21 September 2001 and published on 31 October 2001 in Službeni glasnik Krapinsko-zagorske županije, No. 14, Article 4, claim that the coat of arms of the municipaity is its historical coat of arms. The modern, quasi-heraldic coat of arms in use can hardly be a historical coat of arms. The claim might have been just copied without much thinking from some "template statutes". Similar statements are found in many other municipalities that just as well do not have any historical coat of arms.
