The municipality of Radoboj (3,513 inhabitants in 2001, 1,295 in the village of Radoboj) is situated some 5 km west of Krapina.
Radoboj was mentioned in documants dated 1334.

Flag of Radoboj

The symbols of Radoboj were adopted on 20 October 2005 by the Municipality Assembly (vecernji list, 21 October 2005). They were designed by Darko Potočki, a local artist from Radoboj.

The flag (photo, photo) is in proportions 1:2, green with the coat of arms in the middle, symbolizing agriculture.

The coat of arms of Radoboj is "Quarterly or and sable". The colors have been chosen to represent the two ores that once were the main products of Radoboj, coal and sulphur.
