The village of Bast (ancient, Bastion), the original settlement in the area, some 2-3 km away in the mountains from the coastline, today a local community within the municipality of Baška Voda, apparently uses a light blue flag with a coat of arms outlined white set next to the hoist (photo). The details of the coat of arms are not discernible from the photo, although the white outlined red inscription "BAST" may be noticed in the chief.
