The symbols of Ivankovo are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Ivankovo, adopted on 3 September 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 24 September 2009 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Vukovarsko-srijemske županije, No. 14, probably repeating the previous Statutes adopted in 2001.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.
The flag is described in Article 8 of the Statutes as in proportions 1:2, yellow with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is described in Article 7 of the Statutes as "in triangular heart-shaped shield, in white field a brown cornucopia with a sunflower, grapes, apple, pear, wheat and corn all proper".

The table flag is a yellow gonfalon ending triangularly bordered green with the coat of arms in its centre, the green inscribed name of the municipality above and green branches of oak and linden below.
This is not necessarily a direct copy of the true ceremonial flag.
