The coat of arms of Cestica (image) is "Azure a vine tree proper fructed or winding around a Latin cross argent issuant from a triple mount vert".
The coat of arms represents and explains the struggle of the inhabitants for spiritual and material goods; it talks about the soil configuration
and agricultural production of the inhabitants, on the wine-growing
tradition of the region. The cross, as the symbol of Christianity,
tells about the people of the region as godfearing people and faithful
Christians, members of the Catolic church. The graphical design of the coat of arms was made by Krunoslav Čolo, who stated in his description that the people of the region are "good husbandmen but opened and hospitable toward every man with honest
and fair intentions" (Varaždinske vijesti, 30 July 1997).
