Presentation of Klinča Sela

The municipality of Klinča Sela is located some 15 km southwest of Zagreb. Population is almost 5,000 inhabitants, about 1,000 living in the capital village of the same name.
The name of the municipality in the 1992 Law on Subdivisions was spelled "Klinča sela", but in 1995 "Klinča Sela" was prescribed, which is more correct according to the Croatian orthograph, anyway. In some older books, the name was also given in singular the form as "Klinča Selo" but that may not have been the official spelling.

The symbols of Klinča Sela were adopted around 2004 and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administartion some time before 2006.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka. They are shown on the poster Likovna rješenja službenih grbova odobrena od Ministarstva uprave a na temelju pozitivne ocjene od Povjerenstva za odobrenje grba i zastave (Heraldic Art, Rijeka, 2006).

The flag is blue with the coat of arms, bordered white, in the middle.
