Kondoros town is located in Békés County, in the Southern Great Plain region
of south-east Hungary. It was established during the reign of King Saint Stephen
I, but was destroyed by Tatars in 1241. The modern settlement was reestablished
in 1875, and it became town in 2013.

Its flag is white with its coat of arms placed on it. Both horizontal and
vertical variant are used. The symbols are adopted in 1995.
