Overview

Dunavecse is a town in Bács-Kiskun county, in Kunszentmiklósi district, located on left bank of Danube. The settlement was called at first time in 1332. It became town in 2004.

The Flag

IIts flag consists of yellow-blue-yellow horizontal stripes, with narower white stripes between the stripes. Two green triangles are placed at the hoist separated by white stripes from other elements. Its colours are taken from the coat of arms, and its design symbolizes the emerging desires and abilities of the town. Blue stripe means Danube. The coat of arms is placed in the middle of the flag on a white square panel overlapped the blue stripe.
