Local Council I'billin (A'ebilin) is situated in the western
Lower Galilee, 15 km SE of Acre and 3
km NE of Shfar'am. Local Council
since 1960.
During my visit I spotted two variants of the unofficial
municipal flag on the city hall, green with black emblem and
orange with black emblem, both with Arabic inscription above and
Hebrew inscription below the emblem. The municipal emblem was
published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut
ha-Pirsumim), YP 4289, 9 March 1995.
