Regional Council Gezer (named after an ancient city whose
remains are in its area) is situated in the centre of Israel,
around the old Tel-Aviv-Jerusalem road, east to Ramla . Est. 1951 and got 15,000 inh.
City hall is in Bet-Hashmonai. I was told by the Regional Council
that in case of need an emblem on monochrome field is used. I
drew it on orange (since gezer also means carrot...) but
it could be in other colours too. The image is probable only. The
municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot),
'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP
633, 13 November 1958.
