Force Multinationale de l'Afrique Centrale (French)
Central African
Multinational
Force (English)
The
FOMAC
is a brigade-size peacekeeping force
established by the ECCAS
(Economic Community of Central African States) in
October 2003, in order to intervene in unstable Central African areas, and
it is the subregional component of a much large-scale military umbrella
organization called African Stand-By Force. The FOMAC will soon
to transform into International Support Mission in the Central African
Republic (MISCA) under African Union control with a UN mandate, pending UN
resolution, which is expected in December. MISCA will take over on
December 19.

The FOMAC flag is the
ECCAS logo on an olive-green
horizontal flag with the word FOMAC in capital yellow letters surrounding
the logo in a semi circular manner, as seen in this
picture.

The flag itself seems to be green, and its logo based on ECCAS, but some
extra inscription, and/or elements are added to it.
