International Ice Hockey Federation has a new logo and flag. They have been
used since 2005 when previous, blue and yellow flag was replaced. New flag is
white with its new logo and name of the federation placed under the logo with

Here is a photo I took of the hanging
version of the IIHF flag at the 2010 Olympics. Same design (rotated).

I have in my archives a flag of IIHF (International Ice-Hockey Federation).
I have a photo of this flag (on photo it is hoisted vertically, blue stripe is
left, yellow is right). Does anybody know why the colours of the flag are
blue and yellow? Is it Swedish origin?
