The Flag

The city emblem was adopted on Nov 25th 1958 and the flag was adopted on Sep 1st 1988 by Notice No 46. The green flag has a gold city emblem in the center. The city emblem is three = Mi stylized katakana サ Sa of Misawa. The three arrows symbolize the pineneedles of the city's resources. The green color stands for an abandunt nature, pine trees bringing a calm and a plenitude, the gold color for an invariable brightness and a beauty. The flag proportion is 2:3.

The flag of the city of Misawa is already reported, but I found two variants of color of mark: yellow and white.
