The village emblem was adopted on Dec 14th 1966 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana にし Nishi of Nishimeya in a form of a pigeon as a symbol of peace. The wings symbolize an unlimited exponential development of the village.
