The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 and No 2. The white flag has a blue, a light blue and a green three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem depicts the mountain, river and Lake Kinshu. It represents a wish for a development of the town. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 2/3 height of the flag.

Sawauchi Village / 沢内村

The flag of the former village of Sawauchi was green with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the town of Nishiwaga.
