The town emblem was adopted on Sep 15th 1957 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center and the kanji name in white horizontally at the bottom. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 矢巾 Yahaba. It represents the merger of the former three villages and a peace and a surge of the town.
