The city emblem was adopted on Oct 26th 1954 by the Notice No 65 but no flag law.
The white flag charged with the black city emblem in the center. The flag proportion 2 : 3
The city emblem is a black bell in a ring form with kanji 白 SHIRO in white inside. The black bell was used for war flag of the former lord the Katakura”Ēs of Shiroishi castle. The outer circle represents the merged municipalities are doing peacefully. The 白 represents Shiroishi City.
