The town emblem was adopted in 1951 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 目 Me of gojoMe in a form of the medieval five castles(=gojo). It represents a mutual understanding , a progress and a surge of the merged five towns and village.
