The city emblem was adopted on Mar 21st 2006 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and a light blue three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is stylized hiragana のしろ Noshiro. It depicts the wave of Japan Sea and a row of mountains of Shirakami. it represents an image of the environmental city blessed with nice waters and greens which makes a leap forward to the bright future.

Futatsui Town / 二ツ井町

The flag of the former town of Futatsui was yellow with mark. The town is now, from 2006, part of the city of Noshiro.
