The town emblem was adopted on Jul 4th 1972 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana ま Ma of Mamurogawa. The three lines symbolize River Mamuro, the rings do a solidarity of three areas ( Mamurogawa, Araki and Nozoki) The vertical straight line represents a development and hopes of the town.
