The town emblem was adopted on Dec 16th 2005 by Notice No 178 but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a blue and a green two color town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is stylized A and katakana ミ Mi of AizuMisato.
The three waves stand for an image of the town which has a comfort with a reconciliation
of three areas and a vigor.
It represents rich four seasons such as hot springs and fresh streams and green
mountains and rivers.
