The village emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1968 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana に Ni of Nishigo. The outer circle symbolizes a collaboration of North area, Central Highland area and South area, the culture, the industry and the education, the agriculture, the commerce industry and the tourism. The center screw stands for an unlimited advance.
