The town emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 1969 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center and the kanji name in white at hoist vertically. The town emblem is stylized kanji 大 O, hiragana く Ku and katakana マ Ma. The circle stands for a peace, the wings for a development and a soar of the industrial culture.
