The village emblem was adopted on Jun 27th 1974 by Ordinance No 16 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana た Ta of Tamakawa. It represents an image of the village which is steadily promoting development of a bright and a rich village by a conformity and a cooperation of the villagers.
