The village emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 20th 1976 by Notice No 18. The orange flag has a blue village emblem in the center. The village emblem is stylized katakana ユ Yu and kanji 川 Gawa. The three circles symbolize Ohkawa River, Yugawa River and Sesenagi River running thru the village. It represents three rivers which made the village and an unlimited progress. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The length of the emblem is 2/5 of the length of the flag. The official flag is an orange with a blue emblem not green.
