The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Aug 26th 2013 by Notice No 53. The white flag has a blue town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 大 Dai of Daigo. The circle and the center of the fan symbolize a reconcillation and a solidarity by a merger of the former one town and eight villages. The fan stands for an unlimited surge of the town. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
