The city emblem was adopted on Oct 2nd 1928 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 大 Dai in a form of Paulownia flower and three leaves.  It represents a repletion and a development of the city.

Kurohone Village / 黒保根村

The flag of the former village of Kurohone is yellowish green with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the city of Kiryu.
