The village emblem was adopted on Nov 24th 1970 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem represents an image of the village which spreads like a fan from Mt.Akagi as a core. The straight lines symbolize an unlimited possibility of the village which expands to the future and the curved line does a conformity of the people.
