The Flag

The flag of the city of Tomioka is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Mar 27th 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has an orange, a blue, a green three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana と To of Tomioka. The orange color stands fot the sun, the blue color for Kabura River and the green color for Mt.Myogi. It represents a wish for family to live healthfully in an abandunt nature.
