White colour coat-of-arms on dull purple field. Stylized Hiragana character MI (み)in a disc. The coat-of-arms on symbolizes cooperation of three main places in the ku: Shiba, Azabu and Akasaka. Coat-of-arms on adopted 30 July 1949. Flag unlegislated.

Minato ward says they use only purple flag at their building. They say the flag color looks different depending on weather, age of flag, material of flag but they never asked their flag manufacturer to make blue one.
