Nozomi Kariyasu, 17 March 2006

The emblem is the kanji ta 多 (many) of Tama-shi, stylised in the shapping of dove flapping wings and taking off (inside a circle). The dove, particularly the line towards the upper right, reassuringly symbolises unlimited motion into the future and peace.
Jonathan Dixon, 1 July 2006

For city of Tama I found two variants of flag: purple and blue.
