The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Jun 20th 1966. The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana い I of Izumozaki. It represents a cycle, dynamics and a surge. The flag proportion is 2: 3. There is a variant flag which is a gold town emblem on the maroon field on law.
