The city emblem was adopted on Jul 9th 1934 by Notice No 17 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a vermillion city emblem in the center. The city emblem is the former Shibata Domain lord Mizoguchi family crest five stories water caltrop.

Kajikawa Village / 加治川村

The flag of the former village of Kajikawa was yellow-green with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the city of Shibata.
