Town of Yuzawa adopted its emblem/flag on 6 December 1965 by
Regulation No 7 (link in Japanese)
flag proportion: 2:3 colour of field: dark reddish brown (ebicha iro)
colour of emblem: white
height of emblem: 5/8 flag height
Nozomi Kariyasu, 18 January 2006
The town emblem and flag were adopted to symbolise at town surrounded by
beautiful nature, with townspeople working as one to increasingly rush
ahead as a tourist city. Interestingly, the regulation describes the
"ceremonial flag" first, and then describes the other version as for
informal use.

The flag of the town of Yuzawa is already reported, but I found more red
